Sandeep J. Shah graduated from L.S. Raheja School of Architecture, Mumbai in 1992 in which he stood first in the state of Maharashtra and went on to complete Master of Science in Architecture (M. S. Arch.) from California Polytechnic State University, USA in 1994. He worked with various Architects in the USA before returning to Mumbai, India to start his own firm M/s SSA DESIGN STUDIO (Architects and Interior Designers) along with Anita S. Shah. He is a registered architect with the “Council of Architects” New Delhi and a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) and Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID). He was also a visiting lecturer at the Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute of Architecture and Environmental Studies, Juhu, Mumbai and has been invited on several occasions as Design Jury in several Architecture Colleges & to speak on Architecture and Interior Designing at many forums including social forums like the “Rotary Club.”

Anita S. Shah has completed G.D. Arch from L.S. Raheja School of Architecture, Mumbai in 1992 and was awarded “Most Outstanding Student in Architecture” from the Rotary Club of Bombay (West). She is a registered architect with the “Council of Architects” New Delhi and a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) and Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID). She is also very insightful in the field of Vastu Shastra and Graphic Design.

Apart from their professional work, both Sandeep and Anita are also deeply involved in Social and Charity work - which through the J. B. Shah Foundation, is involved in spreading education amongst the under-privileged section of society.
Mr. Sandeep J. Shah is also a trustee of the V.P Shah Trust & Shivanand Mission Trust. This family trust has under its wings Primary and Secondary Schools, Girls and Boys’ Hostels, a Rehabilitation Centre and a speciality Hospital where apart from other treatments approximately 18,000 cataract operations are performed every year out of which more than 80% are free of cost. All these facilities are located at Virnagar, a town near Rajkot, Gujarat.
He is also in Managing Council of Gujarati Kelavani Mandal at King’s Circle, which has under its wings SSC & IGCSE Schools catering to almost 2200 children
